If you want to see a change, now is the best time to be the change! Join us, Manchester’s plastic free, zero waste shop, selling staple goods, grains, pasta, soaps and biodegradable household items, making a change one product at a time!

The Elder Tree Pantry is a family run plastic free, zero waste shop, in the heart of Manchester’s City Centre. We are very big believers in if you want to see a change, you will have to be that change.  We want to help change minds and live in a world where disposable products are not made from materials that will outlive us! 300 million tons of plastics are produced each year, with 50% disposable products, and only 10% that is recycled. Consuming doesn’t have to cost the earth!

Focusing on creating a better future, we decided to look back to the past, where eating real food with minimal packaging was normal practice. We believe returning to these simple ways will benefit not only our environment but our health too.

We believe returning to these simple ways will benefit not only our environment but our health too. However, we do not believe in charging the Earth for customers trying to shop to save it.

So come and visit our online shop where we use minimal biodegradable packaging, as we focus on creating a better future, for the benefit of the planet and ours too!

50% of all plastic used, is used once and then just thrown away.

There is no such thing as “away”. When we throw anything away it must go somewhere.
